Senior Systems Engineer - Full Time

Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne Locations

Permanent positions – Immediate Start

We are seeking experienced and committed Senior Systems Engineers who will develop and implement technical solutions for clients as a part of the infrustraucture solutions team. 

You will need to demonstrate skills and experinece that will include the ability to:

§  Quantify solution costs required to implement and operate technical solutions, including development of bills

   of materials and estimated of effort 

§  Assess the risks associated with design and technology choices and make recommendationsto mItigate

   risks

§  Develop technical design documentation

§  Develop implementation plans and test plans

§  Build/implement technical solutions

§  Manage test processes and execute formal testing of technical solutions

§  Analyse and document client business requirements

§  Identify technical solutions that address client business requirements

§  Develop and maintain expertise in specific technology areas, ensuring current knowledge of both benefits and

   limitations of the technology 

§  Develop the scope and approach to deliver projects involving technical solutions

§  Work with the sales team to develop and present solutions for clients, including proactively promoting specific

   technologies in which you mainttain a high level of expertise

§  Mentor, encourage and oversee other Frame staff members

§  Conduct peer technical documentation reviews

§  Liaise with clients, vendors and other stakeholders, and resolve problems

§  Proactively maintain and develop client relationships

§  Be familiar with and adhere to the Frame Business System

 

To be considered you must have:

§  Strong Cisco experience, specifically with IOS, and NxOS with an emphasis on NxOS and an

   advanced knowledge of OSPF, BGP and RIP

§  Cisco networking with 5+ years of experience including switches and routers (wireless would be considered

   an advantage)

§  Understands WAN technologies – Ethernet, Frame Relay, ISDN, ADSL, and 3G Wireless

§  Understand Qos - Classification Congestion Management, Queue Management, Traffic Shaping and Policing

   Tools, Link Efficiency Mechanisam

§  Understands Security – Firewalls, Intrusion Detection and IPSec VPN’s

§  PC Applications – Microsoft Office Suite and Vision

§  B.E/BSc in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical or Computer Science or equivalent in experience

§  CCNP and CCIE (Routing & Switching/Service Provider) certification preferred or other equivalent industry

   recognised certification
