Solutions Architects - Full Time

Sydney, Brisbane and multiple positions in Melbourne

Permanent position – Immediate Start

We are seeking an experienced and committed Solutions Architect who will develop strategies for clients as part of the infrastructure solutions team, and ensure delivery of high quality innovative and appropriate technical solutions.

You will need to demonstrate skills and experinece that will include the ability to:

        §  Evaluate emerging technologies, perform proofs-of-concept and architectural analysis, and document

   recommendations, strategies and best practices

§  Consult with clients to understand their business requirements and environments

§  Analyse and document client business requirements

§  Identify technical solutions that address client business requirements

§  Develop and maintain knowledge in a broad range of technology areas, including the ability to communicate

   the functionality, benefits, technical limitations, commercial impacts and operational impacts of the technology

§  Develop the scope and approach to deliver projects involving technical solutions

§  Quantify solution costs required to implement and operate technical solutions, including development of bills of

   materials and estimation of effort

§  Assess the risks associated with design and technology choices and make recommendations to mitigate

   identified risks

§  Work with the sales team to develop and present solutions for clients

§  Develop technical design documentation

§  Develop implementation plans and test plans

§  Assist with the implementation of technical solutions

§  Mentor, encourage and oversee other Frame staff members

§  Conduct documentation reviews

§  Research, develop, maintain, and communicate architecture standards and strategies

§  Provide technical training (formal and informal) for clients and other Frame staff members

§  Report project progress and assist project managers in compiling project progress reports

§  Liaise with clients, vendors and other stakeholders and resolve problems

§  Proactively maintain and develop client relationships

§  For smaller projects, undertake project management duties, including keeping clients informed at all times

   and ensuring projects are delivered within acceptable time, cost and quality criteria

§  Assist in the selection of new team members to join the infrastructure solutions team

§  Be familiar with and adhere to the Frame Business System

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal relationship building skills, proven planning, prioritasation and organisational skills along with the ability to communicate technical and business information to widely varied audiences. You will have the drive for continuous learning, be results orientated and possess a good teamwork ethic.
