In response to the new version of the NetApp operating system, Data ONTAP 7-Mode Administration replaces Data ONTAP Fundamentals 7.3. However, all relevant 7.3 content will still be covered in the new course.
After completing this course you will then be eligable to attend the ANCDA Bootcamp, Data ONTAP 7-Mode which prepares you for certification. Following some additional study and hands-on experienbce (which you will be set-up for during the bootcamp) you can then sit the NCDA exam (NS0-164) and become a NetApp Certified Data Management Administrator.

NetApp Protection Software Administration
Learn how to administer the data protection technologies that are built into Data ONTAP® 7.3 and Data 8.0 - including how to use Snapshot®, SnapRestore®, SnapVault®, OpenSystems SnapVault, and SnapMirror® software to replicate and restore mission-critical enterprise data.

NCDA Bootcamp - Data ONTAP 8.0 7-Mode
Prepare for success when taking the NSO-154 NetApp® Certified Data Management 7-Mode Administrator Exam. Through lectures and labs, you will learn the essential features and functions of the Data ONTAP® 8.0 7-Mode operating system including network-attached storage administration and storage area networks configuration.
This course, paired with the Data ONTAP 8.0 7-Mode Administration course, will enable you to become a certified NetApp data administrator.
Prerequisites
- Three years of experience in a storage related function, such as storage administrator or field engineer
- Six months experience with NetApp storage solutions

SAN Administration Basics
The SAN Administration on Data ONTAP 7.3 course is an instructor-led course taught to customers and service partners. It covers an introduction, overview, installation, operation as well as troubleshooting Fibre Channel (FC) SAN and IP (ISCSI) SAN based storage area networks.
The course covers areas such as SAN infrastructure preparation, storage provisioning options, creation and management of LUNs and volumes, multipathing and high availability, Fibre channel CF mode, tools and troubleshooting techniques. This course is designed for release 7.3 of Data ONTAP.
