Frame’s cloud-based Net Valet delivers the network services you expect, connected to as many sites as you want. What’s more, it gives you meaningful information to use for improving your technology usage, and provides valuable insights which can be used to your business’s advantage.
Imagine having the network services your organisation needs, without the overhead of specialist in-house resources to manage and support your equipment and services.
And imagine being able to see who’s using your network, how and when, historically and in real time. That’s going to be useful for optimising your network’s performance. But, more than that, it can give you insights into the way people are using your network — valuable information which can be used to your advantage.
That’s what you can expect from Frame’s network as a service, Net Valet.
A cloud-based service powered by Cisco — the global leader in this technology — it simplifies your network service requirements. You can use it for a single site or for connecting multiple sites to each other, anywhere in the world.
Net Valet gives you a fixed-price network where you have full visibility and control, without the cost and complexity of building, maintaining and managing a traditional network.
Cloud-based network services, tailored to your requirements …
Frame’s Net Valet gives you:
- a network designed, installed and configured to meet your business requirements
- uninterrupted service for users, with 24×7 support and maintenance of the network and equipment
- reporting to keep you informed, and management and monitoring to make sure services are fully operational.
… with payment options structured to suit your business
You can choose to pay upfront or in monthly fixed-price instalments, for a fixed term of 3 or 5 years.
This gives you the option of paying for your network as a one-off capital expense or as an ongoing operations (consumption) expense.
In addition, because you decide how often you’re likely to require network changes, you only pay for those changes you expect to use.

How Net Valet makes a difference
This service provides you with a reliable network, at a fixed price, without the overhead of specialist in-house resources to manage and support it.
That means you can depend on network service continuity, supported and managed at a lower cost.
But the real difference Net Valet can make to your business is based on the network usage data it collects. Frame can uncover ways for you to use this information to your advantage.
Here are two scenarios which explain how:
Frame’s Net Valet can provide all of these services.
You can use it to track tenants’ data usage, and adjust prices accordingly. Net Valet can also give them secure connectivity to their corporate networks.
The real value, though, is that you (or your tenants, if you give them access) can see where shoppers were when they accessed the internet, as well as which websites they visited. Even if shoppers don’t use the free internet access, the network can track their mobile devices as they walk around.
With this information, Net Valet can provide heat maps of shopper movement, it can let you know how long they stayed and how often the same shoppers return to the centre.
A wonderful use for this would be if you want to sell advertising, say, in the car park, to promote a certain retail outlet. You’d be able to compare the customer traffic to the retailer before, during and after the advertisement was in place. And you’d be able to quantify the increase in traffic to the retailer due to the advertisement, and compare it to general traffic.
First, Net Valet can provide a fully managed network for your remote branches, without the need for highly skilled technical engineers to be onsite to install equipment or support the service.
Second, Net Valet tracks what type of traffic is traversing the network. Using this information, Frame can recommend better ways for your network service to be configured, and so make better use of the limited bandwidth. For example, the network can be configured to restrict bandwidth for someone addicted to social media, so that business traffic is given priority.

Everything you need for the network service you expect
Equipment
The service’s fixed cost includes all of the equipment your situation requires: network devices (switches), wireless access points and security devices (with firewall).
Connectivity
Your network is connected to the cloud and to other sites (corporate or home office) via your existing internet or carriage service, regardless of service provider.
Web portal
A web portal gives you instant online access to your network, with real-time information about its status and performance. You also get real-time and historical views of your network traffic and user activity. Frame uses this information to help you decide how you shape network traffic and usage. Then Frame makes the changes for you.
Service monitoring and management
Round-the-clock monitoring of devices means faults can be detected before they lead to issues. We resolve faults according to our agreed levels of service. In addition, we keep your network device software up-to-date.
Service Desk
Frame’s Australian-based Service Desk is your principal point of contact for support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can contact the Service Desk by phone, email or via the web portal.
Service delivery manager
You’re allocated a service delivery manager who ensures you receive the service you’re paying for. They’re also the person to contact if you need to escalate any matter.
Information sessions
Each month, your service delivery manager organises an information session with you. These sessions are used to discuss how your network performed during the previous month. You receive suggestions and recommendations for improving the network and for making sure your organisation’s assets are used the way you want them to be.
Network changes
Implementing changes to your network is part of the Net Valet service, and follows Frame’s rigorous change management framework. When a network change is required, we can provide technical input to your organisation’s Change Advisory Board, prepare a back-out plan and implement the change within the scheduled change window.
